Too Many Choices Since XP

Ever since windows XP, we need to make a choice between 2 different versions of windows.  This has given consumers a big headache over which to pay for.  Vista has doubled its choices to 4 of them.  With current 64 bit options out there, it gives you a 8 choices to decide from.

The major difference in 64 bit and 32 bit would be the capabilities of using more than 4 gigs worth of ram, as having more rams means a faster experience obviously.  However, 64 bit software computing is still not very common in games and applications.  You can still use and install 32 bit software inside a 64 bit windows.  Except that some users mentioned that the application ends up slower than running in a 32 bit windows.  Not really drastically slower, but it just produced lower frame rates in games for example.

You can have a detailed comparision from this table below.

Now after referring to this chart, you will be able to make informed choice of what you really need and want for your computer.  All these different versions of Windows 7 are not really different from each other.  I would suggest professional for a slightly advance user or Home Premium as minimum for a less tech user.  One last advice is just to buy the upgrade pack as it can do a full installation with totally just a blank hard drive with no windows to begin with.  You can read our article here on how to do a full installation without forking out more for a full version.
