Mobile operating system is the next in-coming focus in technology. Mobile Softwares are springing up in millions in the whole web and not all are really good and only a handful of them are really tops when it comes to usability and quality. DIY Tech Tips & Guides shows you some of the most useful Mobile Software that you can make use off for free. As usual, we always give our readers a little added advantage over your peers.


1. Opera Mobile 

This browser from Opera is one of the top best browsers for mobile devices. This browser is able to support multiple tab browsing and also auto zooming and alignment to the text on the site so that you can read with ease. It also has simple flash and Java support to show animated gifs and even play simple facebook games.




2. Skyfire

Skyfire is also another powerful browser in the world of mobile smartphones. This browser is also currently the only browser that is capable of doing flash on mobile phones. Sadly, it only supports Android platforms for now. But we look forward to the day it supports multiple platforms. Previously it does support a lot of platforms ranging from Symbian and Windows mobile. But it has taken off support for a huge list of countries.


3. Dolphin Browser HD

The Dolphin Browser HD is a powerful Android browser that comes with add-ons like Adblocker, Password Manager, and built in a way to be more lightweight, faster and stable. It also allows multi-touch for pinch zooming or simply by double tabbling. It is also the browser that is the most compatible with the latest Android Froyo 2.2 and it supports flash. 4. ClearTemp

For the Windows mobile users, it is very common to experience slow downs in the operating system as you use the device over time. This is due to over clutter of system files and registry entries. For a desktop user, you may know there is Ccleaner, for a Windows mobile user, use ClearTemp


5. Chinese Fonts

To view Chinese in Windows mobile in case for some reason you flash a different ROM or something in your device and you lose the default system that already has the capability to do so. Download sunglobe.cab and install that to your Windows mobile. Reboot and you should be able to view Chinese in the browsers etc.


6. Chinese input

Similarly to the above, if you lose the native Chinese entry support after flashing a custom made ROM, you can install the ZT4 input software. Touch the small arrow beside the keyboard icon to reveal even more text entry modes. You should see the new Chinese input mode there.


7. Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot

You can turn any Windows mobile phone into a portable Wi-Fi hotspot as long as it has the internet sharing capability. The phone by itself does not need to come with the router program built in. You can download it here.


8. Screen capture software

It is always useful to have software that allows you to capture what is on the screen. In case you want to take down anything that is interesting such as a gaming high score or some comment you see online posted by someone.
