Windows Advanced System care
What would you say if I told you to gather up all your computer programs for optimizing your computer system and file them neatly in the bin! You would think I’ve completely lost the plot RIGHT…? But NO! my friends I’m in full command of my faculties, however I have stumbled upon a new computer program for tweaking & optimizing your computer & I know your going to love it !

Now I am not normally one for sounding off about software, as long as it does what it says on the box then that’s fine, I don’t get excited at all, I just load it onto my laptop, push a few buttons & then sit back and wait for it to do it’s thing.
So there I was browsing around the net for a few hours last Sunday, when i stumbled upon a write up / review for a new piece of software,

This utility offers a one-stop-shop for cleaning and maintaining your computer for better overall system performance. The interface is very simple, featuring only a few buttons, which makes it easy to get down to cleaning immediately (in fact, it automatically runs on start-up) and doesn’t confuse you with multiple steps.
The Maintain Windows section focuses on four areas of maintenance: spyware removal, Registry cleaning, a privacy sweep, and deletion of junk files. The Diagnose System button provides system optimization tools, detects spyware, defragments your disk, and scans for hijacked Windows settings. In our tests the scan and clean for each of these areas took less than 10 minutes to complete. In many of these scans, it is difficult to tell what exactly is being accomplished by some of the tools, but we were able to test against other trusted apps, which confirmed Advanced SystemCare’s efficacy in those areas.
Under the utilities section you are given several tools, which are similar to plug-ins, for other areas of optimization and diagnostic tests. Overall, Advanced SystemCare Free is a good way to maintain your system’s speed and clear out junk files, but you’ll need to remember to run it regularly because scheduling of scans is only available in the paid Pro version.
Now I have run this program for over a week so far & all I can say is WOW ! If you never download or install another program, then you best make this the last one.
I have kept Malware Bytes, Ad-aware SE, Registry Mechanic 7 & Spybot S&D, all still installed on my laptop just in case ! Well having run several scans with Advanced System Care & then used the other programs to double check (Yeah sceptical is my middle name) I have not once found anything that it missed or failed to correct. This program really is out of the box fixes & optimization for your PC, no tweaking, no scratching your head wondering what different things do, just install and run, it really is that simple. In fact the free version is pre set to the default settings & this is why you have no adjustments to make. Although if like me, you are tempted to get the Pro version, then there are indeed numerous setting to allow for much more advanced optimization.

Thankyou very much for this program. It is very unusual for a FREE program to work as well as this does and not have to subscribe to anything. It sorted my laptop out which is running 100% better.

Thanks for your comments, and for passing on others reviews. I have been running IOBit’s amazing free defrag program for about a year, and it beats anything else I have seen in both speed and efficient defrag. I just discoveed ASC through the icon on their latest defrag download (they’re always improving it) and was skeptical myself, but their track record on my PCs and the top ratings from Tucows encouraged me to try it. WOW is all I can say. I never saw a utiilty do so much in so little time. I am impressed that they integrate doing a system restore in the routine-just in case their nifty program messes you up. I like developers that have some distance on their own perfection.

I like the program so much I even joined an affiliate site so I could plug it even more hahaha.
So far everything seems fine, I am just waiting for my next spyware infection, just to see how it deals with it !
I have been running ASC for about 3 years now and with each update, it just gets better. I also have Security 360 and Smart Ram (all freebies from IOBIT)and since I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer, my words can’t express the level of confidence and assurance IOBIT has given me. I urge everyone to spread the word.
Question: Why is it that this program always finds the same number of files on most computers when run for the first time e.g. 6350 files to delete

Ok well I had uninstalled Advanced System Care in order to test out a different piece of software. However after your comment I had to find out what was going on so I reinstalled and ran a full scan, results below;
1. Spyware Removal = 0
2. Registry Fix = 429
3. Privacy Sweep = 368
4. Junk Files = 11.80mb
5. System Optimization = 62
6. Security Defence = 6350
7. Disk Defrag = 0
8. Security Analyzer = 0
Now there is no mention of 6350 files to delete, in fact the only mention of 6350 is Security Defence, which I would assume could be weaknesses that the program highlights in the Windows OS. If this is the case then I would not be surprised to find this figure shown on all PCs running Windows as obviously a security risk on one PC is equally likely to exist on a 2nd PC.
I have run this software for quite some time & for those less tech savy PC users, I think it is an excellent piece of software.

Very Useful utility, Highly recommend.
Here’s the problem. When you enter the “Restore” panel, the restore points are listed in MM/DD/YYYY order rather than YYYY/MM/DD order. That’s not chronological order you guys. Think!
No it is not Bill, but many different companies put the date in a wide variety of order , but I hardly think it is a major issue & it certainly does not prevent the software from doing what it is supposed to do !
